Ueno Park

Ueno park is a spacious, centrally located public park with museums, temples, a zoo and the picturesque natural Shinobazu pond. The pond is partially covered by lush Lotus plants during summer season and there is a boat rental, where you can rent small redal boats to explore from the water. Also, Ueno park is one of Tokyo's most popular cherry blossom spots with more than 1000 cherry trees lining its central pathway. The cherry blossoms are usually in bloom during late March and early April.
